Dana Mannix Gymnastics was originally opened in March, 1993.  At it’s peak season, there were nearly 1000 students enrolled in the program.  This included our regular class students, pre-school students, team gymnasts, tumblers and a mom’s day out program.  We believe the reason our gym was so incredibly popular was due to the caring, nurturing, positive atmosphere that Dana and her staff worked so hard to create.

The motto was “every child is a star” regardless how big, how small, how old or even how talented.  The staff understood that they had an opportunity to positively affect a child that day.  Praise was the motivator to create work ethic in each child.  It’s amazing how hard a child will work for an honest “good job”.  Dana sold the gym in March 1998 after the birth of her fifth child, Madelyn.  After a seven year maternity leave and Madelyn entering the first grade, Dana chose to come back into the gymnastics world in a big way.

In August, 2004, the brand new, 18,000 sq. ft. facility was opened.   Our state of the art equipment includes an in ground 20’X 40’ loose foam pit, in-ground tumble track and trampolines. Our facility is fully air-conditioned and also set up for the use of wireless internet which makes Dana Mannix Gymnastics the place to bring your child!  We have become one of the leading birthday party centers as well.  We continue to strive to create exemplary customer service along with superior gymnastics instruction.

Our annual exhibition is held in June of each year.  This is a very special time when the children have the opportunity to perform for an audience of hundreds of very proud parents, grandparents and friends.  This show is complete with spotlights, sound systems and special awards.  We have found this to be a wonderful experience for children who like to be “a star” without the commitment of being on a competitive team.

For those students who do want competitive gymnastics, Dana Mannix Gymnastics offers team programs that stress excellence while keeping the well-being of the child and family as a top priority.

Finally, the foundation of Dana Mannix  is her faith in Jesus Christ.  Over the front door of the gym is painted, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.  We hope we served you well.”  In all we do, we strive to honor God and genuinely care for those we have the privilege to serve.
