Preschool is an excellent time to start preparing your child for a lifetime love of learning and fitness. Every day we will invite your Little Star to learn new skills and enhance their existing ones by an integration of: ART Creative expression working with colors, shapes and textures.
LANGUAGE ARTS Letters & Sounds, Word Recognition, Reading Readiness & Learning With Music.
SCIENCE & SENSORY How things look, feel, work, smell & sound.
MATH Counting, recognizing & writing numbers, Learning phone number & address.
FINE MOTOR SKILLS Working with puzzles, coloring, cutting, tracing, & printing letters.
LARGE MOTOR SKILLS / GYMNASTICS Stretching, jumping, obstacle courses, balance beam, bars, floor & trampoline activities using hoops, bean bags etc. to promote coordination and fitness.
Our Mission: Each week we’ll present a different theme incorporating all the above core concepts. This itinerary will be posted on a curriculum calendar and may be influenced by your suggestions and your child’s specific interests. We want to bring new and interesting ideas to our Little Stars, while sustaining the fun and familiar activities they know. We believe that children will gain a solid foundation of knowledge common to the classroom and community, along with honor and respect for themselves and their friends from LITTLE STARS GYM & LEARN.

This is a 9-month program offered to children ages 3 and up, with an additional Friday Mom’s Day Out for ages 2 and up. (Special consideration may be given for children at least 2 ½ years.) Fees are a flat rate per month, and children in the preschool program should be potty trained.
There are 2 options for Pre-School at DMG. The first option is a pre-school only which does not include a gymnastics class and runs for 3 hours. Students will still work on motor skills but will not receive a formal gymnastics lesson. The second option is pre-school with an added gymnastics class. Students will receive a 1 hour gymnastics lesson each day of school.

The cost of adding a gymnastics class has been greatly reduced for the Little Stars program! Standard gymnastics lessons cost nearly $14/hour. The Little Stars rate for 4 days a week is $8/hour! This is a tremendous value and is greatly beneficial to pre-school age students.
Friday Mom’s Day Out
